In accordance with the Federal Constitutional Law of 28. 04. 1995 No. 1-FKZ from July 1, 1995, 10 federal arbitration courts were established in the Russian Federation courts of districts, including the Federal Arbitration Court of the Central District, which verifies judicial acts adopted by arbitration courts of the Belgorod Region, Bryansk Region, Voronezh Region, Kaluga Region, Kursk Region, Lipetsk Region, Oryol region, Ryazan region, Smolensk region, Tambov region, Tula region in the first and appeal instances.

In connection with the introduction of the Federal Constitutional Law of 04. 07. 2003 No. 4-FKZ into the system of arbitration courts of the Arbitration Court of Appeal, which verifies in the appellate court the legality and validity of judicial acts of arbitration courts of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, for The Arbitration Court of the Central District is entrusted with the verification of judicial acts adopted by the arbitration courts of appeal formed in this judicial district.

In accordance with the Federal Constitutional Law of 22. 12. 2014 No. 18-FKZ since 2014, the Arbitration Court of the Central District checks the judicial acts passed by the arbitration courts of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as the Arbitration Court of the Central District entrusted with the verification of judicial acts adopted by the Twenty-first Arbitration Court of Appeal formed in this judicial district.

Accordingly, in the area of ​​activity of the Arbitration Court of the Central District, the following are valid:

• The Nineteenth Arbitration Court of Appeal, located in the city of Voronezh and verifying judicial acts adopted by the arbitration courts of the Belgorod Region, Voronezh Oblast, Kursk Oblast, Lipetsk Oblast, Oryol Oblast, Tambov Oblast;
• Twentieth Arbitration Appeal Court, located in the city of Tula and examining judicial acts adopted by arbitration courts of the Bryansk Oblast, Kaluga Oblast, Ryazan region, Smolensk region, Tula region;
• Twenty-first Arbitration Court of Appeal, located in the city of Sevastopol, which verifies judicial acts adopted by the arbitration courts of the Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol.
