The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation

The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation is the highest judicial body in civil matters, cases for the resolution of economic disputes, criminal, administrative and other cases, jurisdictional courts established in accordance with the Federal Constitutional Law "On the Judicial System of the Russian Federation" and federal laws.

The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation exercises judicial supervision over the activities of courts formed in accordance with the Federal Constitutional Law "On the Judicial System of the Russian Federation" and federal laws in accordance with federal law, considering civil cases, cases for resolving economic disputes, criminal cases, administrative and other cases that are subject to the said courts, as a court of supervisory review, as well as within its competence as a court of appeal and cassation This instance.
