COMPETENCE OF THE DISTRICT COURT:
1. The district court considers all criminal, civil and administrative cases as a court of first instance, with the exception of cases referred by federal laws to the jurisdiction of other courts.
2. In cases established by federal law, the district court hears cases of administrative offenses.

In the Yaya District Court of the Kemerovo Region, it is possible to notify participants in legal proceedings of the date, time and place of a case in court by sending them SMS messages through a specialized Internet resource.
Through SMS notifications, participants in legal proceedings can be notified of the place, date and time of a court session or the performance of certain procedural actions within the framework of criminal, civil or administrative proceedings.
Notification of participants in legal proceedings via SMS notifications is allowed only if the following conditions are met:
- voluntary consent of a participant in legal proceedings to notify him via SMS notifications;
- fixing the fact of sending and delivering an SMS notification to a participant in legal proceedings.
The fact of voluntary consent to receive an SMS notification is confirmed by a receipt, in which, along with the data on the participant in the proceedings and his consent to notification in this way, the mobile phone number to which it will be sent is indicated.
A receipt of consent to notification via SMS notifications with a mobile phone number is selected at any stage of the trial when the participant in the proceedings appears in person.
