The powers of the court
The powers, procedure for the formation and operation of the district court are established by federal constitutional law.
A district court is a directly superior court in relation to justices of the peace acting in the territory of the respective judicial district.
A district court considers appeals, submissions against decisions of magistrates acting in the territory of the corresponding judicial district.
