Composition of the court

Jurisdiction and cognizance of cases by the Khabezsky District Court of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic
I. In accordance with Art. 22 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the Russian Federation, the Khabezsky District Court of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic has jurisdiction over the following civil cases: arising from civil, family, labor, housing, land, environmental and other legal relations;
2) cases arising from public legal relations and referred to in Article 245 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the Russian Federation;
3) cases of special proceedings referred to in Article 262 of the Code of Civil Procedure RF;
4) cases of contesting decisions of arbitration courts and issuing writ of execution for enforcement of decisions of arbitration courts;
5) cases of recognition and enforcement of decisions of foreign courts and foreign arbitral awards.
II. In accordance with Art. 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the Russian Federation to the Khabezsky District Court of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic - the court of first instance has jurisdiction over civil cases, with the exception of cases within the jurisdiction of:
- a justice of the peace (Article 23 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the Russian Federation);
- to the Supreme Court of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic (Article 26 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the Russian Federation);
- to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation (Article 27 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the Russian Federation);
In accordance with Art. 320 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the Russian Federation, the Khabezsky District Court, on appeal, considers complaints against decisions of justices of the peace of the Khabezsky District of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic that have not entered into legal force.
In accordance with Part 2 of Art. 31 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, the Khabezsky District Court of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic - the court of first instance has jurisdiction over criminal cases on all crimes, with the exception of the criminal cases specified in parts one (in terms of the cognizance of criminal cases to a justice of the peace), third and fourth of this article.
In accordance with Art. 354 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, on appeal, the Khabezsky District Court of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic considers complaints and submissions against sentences and decisions that have not entered into legal force, issued by justices of the peace of the Khabezsky District of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
