The length of service as a judge is 20 years. From July 2001 to September 2009 he worked as a judge of the Krasnogvardeisky District Court of St. Petersburg. From September 03, 2009 to April 19, 2012, he worked as a judge of the Leningrad Regional Court, a judicial collegium for criminal cases, was engaged in the consideration of cassation complaints against judicial acts of district and city courts of the Leningrad Region.
