Free legal aid

To date, the lawyers of Chuvashia are involved in the provision of free legal aid by virtue of the Federal Law of November 21, 2011 No. 324 - FZ "On Free Legal Aid in the Russian Federation" and the Law of the Chuvash Republic of March 30, 2012 No. 20 "On Free Legal Aid in the Chuvash Republic ".
In order to achieve a high level of efficiency in organizing the provision of free legal aid and to bring regional legislative regulation in accordance with the aforementioned Laws, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chuvash Republic adopted Resolution No. 203 dated May 23, 2012 “On providing citizens with free legal aid in the Chuvash Republic”.
On July 20, 2012, the Ministry of Justice of the Chuvash Republic and the Chamber of Lawyers of the Chuvash Republic concluded an "Agreement on cooperation in providing free legal aid to citizens of the Russian Federation who have the right to receive free qualified legal aid." The signing of this act was preceded by a long constructive work on bringing legislative regulation on the system of state free legal aid in line with the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the aforementioned Laws, in particular, the issues of relations between lawyers and executive authorities were resolved. This agreement is an important milestone for the start of work on the provision of subsidized assistance by lawyers of the Chuvash Republic.
By the decision of the Council of the Bar Chamber of the Chuvash Republic of 08.02.2013, for all lawyers involved in the activities of the state system of free legal aid in the territory of the Chuvash Republic, has been established a single schedule for receiving citizens: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday - from 16 hours 00 minutes up to 18 hours. 00 minutes
