Ruzaevsky's archive the district court of the Republic of Mordovia accepts, records and stores documents generated in the course of its activities; selects, prepares and transfers documents for storage to state archives; selects documents to be destroyed due to the expiration of their storage period; issues archival references based on the data available in the documents of the archive.
The activities of the archive of the Ruzaevsky District Court of the Republic of Mordovia are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Instruction on Judicial Proceedings in the District Court, approved by order of the Judicial Department at the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated April 29, 2003 No. 36; Instruction on the procedure for the selection of documents for storage in the archives of federal courts of general jurisdiction, their acquisition, accounting and use, approved by order of the Judicial Department at the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of December 28, 2005 No. 157.

The competence of the district court

The competence of the district court is determined by Article 34 of the Federal Constitutional Law of February 7, 2011 No. 1-FKZ "On Courts general jurisdiction in the Russian Federation ", according to which:

1. The District Court considers all criminal, civil and administrative cases as a court of first instance, with the exception of cases referred by federal laws to the jurisdiction of other courts.

2. In the cases established by federal law, the district court hears cases of administrative offenses.

3. On the basis of Part 4 of Article 125 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, a district court has the right to apply to the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation with a request for the constitutionality of a law to be applied in a specific case.

4. The district court hears appeals, submissions against decisions of justices of the peace, acting in the territory of the respective judicial region.

5. The district court, in accordance with federal law, considers cases on new or newly discovered circumstances.
