SMS notification of process participants
Participants in civil, criminal and administrative offense proceedings can be notified of the place, date and time of the court session or the performance of certain procedural actions by SMS notification.
In accordance with the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, as well as instructions on paperwork in a district court, SMS notification of the participants in the process is allowed if the person agrees to receive a notification in this way, and also if it is possible to record the fact of sending and receiving SMS notification ...
When submitting a statement of claim, all applicants are invited to fill out a receipt confirming their consent to the SMS notification. A sample receipt can be found on the court's website.
Holding court sessions using video conferencing
According to clause 3. 7 of the Regulations for organizing the use of videoconferencing in federal courts of general jurisdiction, approved by order of the Judicial Department at the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated 28.12.2015 No. 401, interregional court sessions with the use of videoconferencing are held with the participation of the nearest district courts or garrison military courts at the place of registration, actual residence or place of work of the person participating in the court session.
From 01.07.2020, court sessions using video conferencing are carried out only on Tuesdays until 12:30 and Thursdays from 8:30 to 17:30.
Applications of courts to conduct videoconferencing without specifying the place of registration, actual residence or place of work of the person participating in the court session and the courts that do not fall into the schedule of the videoconferencing court on schedule will be rejected.
