RECEPTION OF CITIZENS
Reception of citizens in the Kholmsk city court is carried out by qualified employees at the reception court, office. No. 111. They respond to inquiries, including by phone, accept and issue documents (including from the archive of the court), communicate with all structural divisions of the court (including on issues of familiarization with the case materials).

Written applications, applications, complaints are accepted from visitors, the consideration of which is within the competence of the city court, the issuance of copies of court documents, informing about the results of the consideration of applications, as well as in accordance with the Federal Law of 22.12.2008 No. 262 -FZ "On ensuring access to information on the activities of courts in the Russian Federation" - requests for information on the activities of the Kholmsk city court are accepted.
Reception of citizens is carried out in the order of priority. Citizens with benefits established by current legislation, as well as pregnant women and visitors with young children, are accepted out of turn. Persons under the influence of alcohol are not admitted to the appointment.

Judges do not conduct personal reception of citizens, since by the Federal Constitutional Law of February 7, 2011 No. 1-FKZ "On Courts of General Jurisdiction" the reception of citizens is attributed to the functions of the court apparatus.
At the same time, it is strictly excluded for the reception staff to provide legal advice, to resolve issues related to the assessment of evidence affecting the nature, scope of legal relations, etc., since the courts are not entitled to give legal advice and advice on the merits of the case, in order to comply with the principle equality of the parties to the proceedings, enshrined in the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

Video conferencing in the city court
A videoconferencing system (VKS) has been introduced and is functioning in the Kholmsk city court.
