Jurisdiction of the Vladikavkaz Garrison Military Court
In accordance with Federal Law of the Russian Federation of December 29, 2020 No. 446-FZ "On Territorial Jurisdiction garrison military courts", the Vladikavkaz garrison military court, being a court of first instance, exercises judicial power on the territory of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (with the exception of the Mozdok region) at the location of military units and institutions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, other troops, military formations and bodies.
The Vladikavkaz garrison military court considers court cases of servicemen of the Southern Military District, the North Caucasian District of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, the Russian Federal Security Service, and the Regional Frontier Directorate of the Russian Federal Security Service.
