Territorial jurisdiction
According to Art. 1 of the Federal Law of December 29, 2020 No. 466-FZ “On the Territorial Jurisdiction of Garrison Military Courts”, the jurisdiction of the Veliky Novgorod Garrison Military Court extends to military units, institutions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, other troops, military formations and bodies deployed in the territories: Novgorod region, Boksitogorsk, Kirishsky, Luga and Tikhvin municipal districts of the Leningrad region.

The court has a 40-hour five-day work week with two days off (Saturday and Sunday) and the following working hours:

On SMS notification of participants in legal proceedings
In accordance with the norms of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, the Code of Civil Procedure of the Russian Federation, the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation and the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, as well as the explanations reflected in the decisions of the Plenums of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, it is allowed to notify participants of the court session by means of an SMS message if they agree to be notified in this way and upon fixing the fact of sending and delivering an SMS notification to the addressee.
