The Arbitration Court of the West Siberian District verifies judicial acts adopted by the arbitration courts of the Altai Republic, Altai Territory, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Tyumen Regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, Yamalo -Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and judicial acts of arbitration courts of appeal formed in this judicial district, in particular, the Seventh Arbitration Court of Appeal, which verifies judicial acts adopted by arbitration courts of the Altai Republic, Altaysko go region, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Tomsk regions; and the Eighth Arbitration Court of Appeal, which verifies judicial acts adopted by the arbitration courts of the Omsk and Tyumen regions, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (subparagraph 4 of paragraph 2 of Article 33.1 of the said law).

In addition, the district court considers applications for the award of compensation for violation of the right to a judicial proceeding within a reasonable time or the right to enforce a judicial act within a reasonable time as a court of first instance (Article 24, paragraph 1, of the Federal Constitutional Law of April 28 1995 No. 1-FKZ “On Arbitration Courts in the Russian Federation”).

A scientific advisory board has been created at the Arbitration Court of the West Siberian District, which includes: the chairman of the district court, deputy chairmen of the court, judges of the district court, chairmen and judges of the arbitration courts of the West Siberian judicial district , representatives of legal science, the public.
